MY HISTORY…

After a childhood growing up in Bulgaria and bathed in an artistic home environment, Sylvia Baldeva took up an artistic career in France at the University of Paris VIII. She achieved a diploma of university general studies in visual arts.

After finishing in the studies of graphics, she used this skill during the next ten years. Wishing to widen her horizons of expression, she worked within the design trade.

At the same time, Sylvia obtained her degree in visual arts at the Sorbonne Paris.

She combined experience in the field of fashion with the creation of accessories and objects of decoration. She has enriched the pallet of creation by widening her fields of expression.

For three years, she has worked as an illustrator for various publications, using a variety of drawing styles.

With exhibitions at a number of galleries, Sylvia has brought her work to the attention of a range of art lovers, allowing them to discover the sensitivity of her creations.
 

EXHIBITIONS…

• July - August 2008 - international exhibition organised by the town of Plovdiv in Bulgaria.

• Mars 2007 - personal exhibition at the “Foyer de la Madeleine”, Church of the Madeleine, Paris.

• May - April 2006 - personal exhibition at the restaurant “Les Fous de l’Ile”, l’île St Louis, Paris.

• October 1992 - participation in the exhibition “Salon d’automne”,  Montigny-les-Cormeilles, Val d’Oise.

• October 1991 - participation in the exhibition “Salon d’automne”,  Montigny-les-Cormeilles, Val d’Oise.
